Re: Added bash script?

Try 30 02 * * * /home/wrf/uems/strc/Ubin/uems_autorun-wrapper.csh --rundir /home/wrf/uems/runs/Coronel > /home/wrf/uems/logs/ems_autorun.log && /path/to/your/additional/srcipt.sh 2>&1 & Or if that doesn't work for some reason (didn't tested) then edit /home/wrf/uems/strc/Ubin/uems_autorun-wrapper.cs...

Re: python routines for UEMS

Hello, from my research, nothing from python comes even close to GrADS functionality. If you find something very useful feel free to post here.

I tried pygrib and metpy but both are really bad compared to GrADS (pygrib actually crashes so there is no tool to read grib files at all as far as I know).

Re: Something "strange"??? with total cld cover

This shown on map is pretty obviously fog (check low level relative humidity to ensure). With that being said, WRF is generally very bad in forecasting fog, so there is no guarantee that this should happen at all.

Re: DWIZ Failed

There should be a symlink from GEOGRID.TBL to GEOGRID.TBL.ARW if I remember correctly. I guess that DWIZ and/or EMS scripts should create that symlink if everything is right. If there is a problem, a bug or something is missing, try to create it yourself and see if this helps: ln -s /home/Nick/uems/...

Yes, does not work correctly. It is ptile server problem, not EMS.

Re: SPORTSST SERVER UNREACHABLE

Hello, try this: Dear SPoRT modeling partners: For those of you utilizing the WRF Unified Environmental Modeling System (UEMS) framework for making local/regional WRF model runs, there are emergency patches that need to be made to your UEMS installation in order to continue acquiring SPoRT datasets ...

Re: Snow depth bug

Hi First you must find out if that snow comes from input data or is created in model, or is maybe artifact from postprocessing. Without knowing that, it is impossible to recommend a fix. Can you try to find out that? You will most probably need ncview tool to look into met_em* files from metgrid (in...
