Removing orography

Post by Giancarlo Modugno » Sat Apr 13, 2013 9:56 am

I don't think that it si the right place in the forum to post ... anyway...

I have used read_wrf_nc.f to edit the geo_em.d0*.nc files because I want to remove orography for sensibility experiments, in my case some islands. I can check the result of the deleting with IDV and all is right.

I tried all the possibilities in this thread http://forum.wrfforum.com/viewtopic.php?f=12&t=342 but always the error in the quote bracket, except when I edit only the HGT_M variable to "0", but the last is not optimal beacuse there is the land instead of the sea (and if I set LANDMASK = 0 there is always the next error...)

Can you help me in any way? I can send the real_crash_logs.tgz if it is necessary
