dwiz is still broken :-)

Post by NoNickName » Sun Jan 14, 2018 11:25 am

Let's face it and be honest. It never worked.
There's one always showed up in all versions of UEMS: the dreaded "geogrid.log not found" bug.
It's still there.

Localisation done by hand as always.

You need to have in same directory either files or symlinks:

1) geogrid (executable file)
2) namelist.wps
3) GEOGRID.TBL

where the last one has to be GEOGRID.TBL.ARW file but named GEOGRID.TBL. In official WRF documentation, symlinks are always used for this purporse but you can use renamed file if you want.

Then just execute that geogrid executable from there. Of course, namelist.wps must be correctly populated.

[emsuser@gempak log]$ cat domain_geogrid.log
[0]0:Return code = 0, signaled with Segmentation fault
[0]1:Return code = 0, signaled with Segmentation fault

oh well maybe I should try a different flavor of o/s
