14:20 (12:20 UTC) and forecast 000 from 06Z missing

With soon inclusion of the NEMS NMM-B model into the EMS package, WRF EMS changes its name and becomes UEMS.

14:20 (12:20 UTC) and forecast 000 from 06Z missing

Hi again,

I am trying to initialize my 180h run. All the ptiles files are ready except the first 000h file.

Has something changed (see my previous topic as well) ?

One more thing, I have changed the delay between the attempts to get the files in auto_run.config file, as well as the number
of attempts. The delay changed, but the number of attemts during the init stays on 3.

Could you please tell, if your are facing the same problem with gfsp25pt dataset, or what is going on?

Again thank you in advance for all your replies.

You can use gfs instead of gfsptiles, those should be good.

Thank you Ivan, yes I have switched to gfs25p, but even with my bandwidth 100 Mbit, it is too slow to download. I think they limit the download speed, or?

Yes, there are also much smaller gfs 0,5 files, but are they at least comparable with p25 gribs to get good results?

Thank you Ivan for your time.

Kindest regards,

Overseas download is always slow. If you have server in USA it would be very fast.

Hi,

Download speed improved connecting to a US server via PPTP using paid VPN service.
