SRTM topo domain, missing tiles?

Hi all, I'm upgrading an existing domain which uses the standard topographic database to the new SRTM, ending the process without any warning. However, when I plot the terrain, there are missing tiles in every domain. Has someone experienced this? How can I check if the data are ok or there are miss...

Data set for a long simulation

Hi all, I intend to do a four-month simulation using FNL data. I'd like to know which is the minimum set of data to download from NCAR'S Research Data Archive in order to initialize UEMS, because FNL data also include lots of information which is not relevant for me now. Also, is there a way to trim...

How to installing noahmp pack

Hi all, I'd like to add the noahmp pack using this method: /home/lcana/Downloads/uems_install.pl --addpack noahmp --emshome /mnt/modelo/uems But it fails with this error: "I'm not pointing any fingers, but I'm unable to determine the release number of the current UEMS installation, which is nec...

Thanks,

So the gfs25pt and the others are indeed the FV3 output?

About FV3 data

Hi all,

I have a question about the data we use to initialize the model. The ones called gfspt25 are indeed the old GFS data or are they already the new ones of the FV3-GFS output?

I so, how to do to load the FV3 data?

Best,

Luis

Re: High resolution SST data?

Hi Theo,

I'm using this:

SFC = sportsstpt, sportsst

Both are included in the grib folder. Some days may fail, but it usually works fine.

Hope it helps,

Luis
