HPC spot

Hello, I tested HPC spot (from OVH) this week. I had error with memory when I launched ems_run: Running ARW WRF while thinking happy thoughts * The WRF ARW core shall be run on the following systems and processors: 16 processors on cpt-140 (1 tile per processor) * Run Output Frequency Primary wrfout...

cloud infrastructure

Hello, I would like to have your opinion about cloud infrastructure. I tested OVH cloud a few month ago but the results are very slow. I think it is due to low speed between nodes and NFS. OVH support confirmed me my point of view... OVH suggest me to switch to HPC cluster but it does not suit for w...

Re: parametrization of rain and cloud

Following my first result, precipitation is better with BMJ scheme (in correlation with sat image). I tested 45 level and the result is that 45 level predict lower precipitation than 35 level. I'm looking after radar archive (all Europe) for my case study (oct 13, 2012) to determine is better to use...

Thank you for you help.

I will try these differents options this night and I come back here with result.

To answer questions:
- dx=dy=0.1 is 10-12km, yes.
