Copying domains

I apologize for what I think is a very basic question. Say I have created a domain (with or without subdomains) and I want to copy it to a new name, perhaps so that I can run it separately or maybe I just want to tweak it a little bit. What is the best way of doing this? It would be great if dwiz ha...

Re: Failed System Signal Code SN 127 Command or File Not Found

I don't have the answer but I'm getting exactly the same error message, initialized by gfsp25. I'd like to know what the answer is also.

Re: Changes needed for GFS Update 2017?

meteo60, are you sure that's what fixed your problem? I thought that setting those to "F" was just a temporary workaround, and now that the new version is out that wasn't necessary. Either way, I still keep having problems with crashes, and I have both parameters set to F. It's driving me crazy. I'm...

BUFR/Bufkit problem

I am getting an error "There are no stations located within your computational domain. " from BUFR post-processing. I have two domains, both of them centered on the site I am trying to get BUFR output for. Any idea why I would be getting a message like this when the site is clearly in the domains? I...

Re: Changes needed for GFS Update 2017?

I have exactly the same problem with the update as apextreme. Tried it on a couple different systems with the same result.

Re: History Reanalysis in WRF EMS 3.2.1 made easy [Guide]

Hi Meteoadriatic and others, Thanks for the tips on reanalysis. In your example, you just run the reanalysis for a single day, but when you actually do this I assume you run this over and over changing the date each time. How do you do this? Do you write a shell script that will execute those over a...

Re: Moving a model from EMS to WRF

No, it still doesn't run. There was a problem with the my_iofields but I fixed that and there's still problems.

I had to move on to some other WRF models that do run...I'll get back to this other stuff later.

Thanks for all your help.

Re: Moving a model from EMS to WRF

Thank you again Meteoadriatic. I tried both, but neither seemed to work. The longer one gave a bunch of warnings W A R N I N G : Problem opening my_iofields_list.txt Which seemed odd because I have a my_iofields_list.txt It finished at real_em: SUCCESS COMPLETE REAL_EM INIT Timing for output 0 s. Ti...
