Re: nvidia tesla

Hello Jaromir

WRF EMS does not include a compiled version for Nvidia GPU. You need to compile original sources of WRF with a Nvidia CUDA driver and fortran compiler...

NB : you can only use WRF NMM core and WSM5 physics option with Nvidia Tesla

Re: History Reanalysis in WRF EMS 3.2.1 made easy [Guide]

It is a problem of the foreign language you have used during linux install. You can correct it in strc/ems_prep/Prep_acquire.pm at line number 840 by adding the Length localization like the following for french : while (<OF>) {@size = split ' ', $_ if s/Content-Length:|Length:|Longueur://i;} have ni...

Re: Vertical levels in WRF EMS

Hi

I've investigated the same test, but, when I've tried to modify levels in run_levels.conf, I didn't succeed in having the modified levels into the grib1 or grib2 files after modelling.
How can I check if it is ok in wrfout files, before searching into the wrfpost process.

Re: wrf ems bug???

Hi I've you got only one grib file with all forecast hours or one grib file per forecast hour ? Check a wgrib 201010061200_nmm_wrfout_d01.grb to see what is inside your grib file The date could be strange too in ctl file : try to change 09Z09oct2010 to 12Z06oct2010 and gribmap -i the new ctl file re...

Re: fedor 64 bit and dwiz

Hello

Use "yum provides libXtst.so.6" and search i?86 one. You probably will have to type after :"yum install libXtst-1.0.3-5.fc11.i586" or something like that depending of the Fedora release.

Remenber to connect as root in order to install libXtst.so.6

Re: GrADS in ramdrive

Hello Have you done some benchmarks to compare with/without ramdisk because I'm not sure your idea will improve grads performance. In fact, if I understand well, your grads will launch faster, perhaps image writing will be done faster, that's all. If you would like to increase computation speed, it ...
