Problems installing on Debian (64-Bit)

Post by Alligator » Thu Oct 15, 2020 8:09 pm

I first tried to install UEMS on a 32-bit version of Debian, and it told me to install a 64-bit version. So I did, but now I'm getting the following installation error:

The UEMS is designed for a 64-bit (x86_64) machine architecture; however, it
appears this system OS is 32-bit. While this activity might be accepted by a
lesser modeling system, the LP will not let you do this to yourself.

I have verified my OS is 64-bit. Anyone have any ideas?

I changed my OS to CentOS and it worked. Must be an issue with Arch and Debian.
