UEMS Autorun, two runs at the same time?

Post by UwBeInt »

Hello Together

I am using the UEMS autorun routine for my domain (4km). Depending on the run 00, 06, 12 or 18Z more or less files need to be downloaded. So also the simulation takes longer or less time depending on the run.

Now I have the following problem:
Is the 00Z run running (wrf_arw.exe), Grib, etc. then the 06 run can not start. If the 00Z run is finished late, the 12Z run comes afterwards and the 06 run is skipped.

I don't want this to happen, how can I get UEMS to start a run and do it in parallel, even though one is already running? Is that possible? Can someone tell me how?

I am running UEMS V21.4 on the Ubuntu 20.04 Focal LTS

Thanks a lot
System: Ubuntu 20.04 LTS - 20 x Intel(R) Xeon(R) CPU E5-2630 v4 @ 2.20GHz - 128GB RAM - 3TB HDD, 1TB SSD
