New Compy

Just ordered parts to build a machine at work that will also run the WRF. Parts list below:

Based on this web site-- http://www.cpubenchmark.net/high_end_cpus.html -- it should do well since we're building the machine with a goal of a 45C operating temperature under load. I'll post a benchmark when I can.

One thing to consider with the first generation i7 Intels (Bloomfield/Lynnfield) is that they operated better in 64-bit world with RAM in multiples of 6. I believe the second generation operates better in multiples of 8.
