Skyscraper

Post by kjeldsen » Fri Feb 26, 2010 8:08 am

Our little baby was named Skyscraper:

When done it should be running with 20 nodes, we are battling a bit with getting everything 100% solid, it´s all about getting the errors out of the cluster before we more it to a hosting site :-)

More to follow... i hope :)

Oh my God! This will be fast  Im looking forward to see some benchmarks from this (Burj Dubai?) Tower

I hope you have Infiniband network between nodes, 1Gbit/s is probably not enough for smooth data exchange...

We are not seeing any saturation on our network, even though we only run it on a Gigabit switch.

All our CPU´s are clocked at 3ghz and each node has 4GB ram. That gives us a nice 60Ghz machine with 80GB ram :-)
