Post by blacksword » Tue Jan 03, 2017 12:29 pm

hi guys i need some help

i run the uems and when i setup a domain with dwiz and i choose Lat lon region option (projection) instead of Lambert it gave me an error:

That warning means your downloaded input data do not cover whole domain.

If you used ptiles, maybe the code that calculates required region does not create large enough tile. If that is the case, you should report that to Robert Rozumalski.

Or you can try to fix the code yourself to expand ptile area a bit more.

Either way if you do not tile domain it should work.

Are there any *error* or *out* files in domain log directory?

i updated the UEMS today to last version because i have seen there are some bugs but again it stuck on METGRID it happen when i chose lat-lon projection and i found out the DWIZ put wrong DX and DY inside namelist.wps for some reason for example it is what dwiz put there:

Code: Select all

 dx                         = 2846144.f
 dy                         = 2846144.f

but when i check with ncdump -h the geo_em.d01.nc file it gave me another values for dx dy:

Code: Select all

:DX = 2846144.f ;
:DY = 2846144.f ;
and i guess this is the problem what you think?
